KLYMAXX is a strong
all-female R&B/funk self-contained band with dynamic vocals
with the purpose and intent to deliver uncompromising grooves with
an added funk/rock guitar style by original member Cheryl Cooley.
KLYMAXX has had several top 20 hits
to their credit including "Meeting in the Ladies' Room",
"The Men all Pause" and the Billboard Magazine #3 song
of 1986, "I Miss You". KLYMAXX
was a trend setter making statements for independent women.
The original group disbanded in 1990 but the desire to continue
the music and purpose of KLYMAXX inspired
Cheryl, to put together a group of female musicians that shared
her vision, after the original members expressed their disinterest
in performing for the fans that still loved KLYMAXX
music. Her new union started in the summer 2002 and has performed
for fans that have been anxiously awaiting KLYMAXX'
music to return to the touring scene.
