Maureen began pounding the piano at age three, and began classical training at age four. She breezed through the myriad of competitions sponsored by the California Music Teachers Association, culminating in her winning the coveted state wide "Young Artist Award" her senior year in high school and performing her recital in San Francisco. She received her B.A. from UCLA in Piano Performance and Music Composition, studying under renowned professors Aube Tzerko and Anne Perry.

Maureen then set her sights on popular music, and has since toured with new age artist "Lino" (Eversound Records), dance/electronica bands "Superhero" and "Nexus 6", and jazz fusion guitarist "Adrian", as well as played in the Los Angeles productions of "Bandage - The Rock Opera." Most recently, she performed in David Gest's production "Live in Concert New Years Eve Gala" with special guest stars James Ingram, Chaka Khan, Isaac Hayes, Denice Williams, Gloria Gaynor and others.
